Servers
Intelli-M Access is offered as a software only base kit or pre-installed and configured on two models of server, a desktop/wall mount 32 door server and a rack mount 128 door server. The basic Intelli-M Access software allows up to 32 doors and can be downloaded from our web site in the support section. A trial 30 day, 32 door license will be automatically generated on installation. The license can then be upgraded to a permanent one. For installations larger than 32 doors, additional door licenses can be purchased in 32 door packs. Intelli-M Acces runs on Windows XP Professional and higher, Windows 7 Professional and higher, Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2008. infinias recommends Windows 7 or Server 2008. Many of the rules in the rules engine run at the server. If the installation requires the advanced features of the rules engine, care should be taken to ensure that there is a dedicated server with appropriate backup power.
