The concept is very simple, install one controller at each door, keeping reader and locking wire as short as possible. Connect the controller to the nearest PoE switch, and with one CAT 5 cable deliver data and power to the controller, strike, reader and exit devices. With a solution that's very change friendly, physical changes to the building don't require extensive re-wiring. With infinias, dividing or aggregating space in a building becomes easy, just connect the tenant's controllers to their switch. One installation can become many installations and vice versa.
